Camrie Pipper



Camrie Pipper is a proud first-generation student who joined Texas State University in 2007 and graduated from Texas State University with a B.A. in English in 2011. She spent her undergraduate years working as a student worker in the Instructional Technologies Support (ITS) division. Later, she worked as Graduate Research Assistant for ITS and received an M.A. in Literature from Texas State University in 2014. Upon graduating, she joined the Department of Philosophy and in 2017 was promoted to the Administrative Assistant III position, where she helped facilitate the Philosophy Dialogue Series. In 2021 she was accepted to the Doctoral Program in Developmental Education at Texas State University where she was awarded the Texas State University Merit Fellowship for her first year of doctoral studies. In addition, she was also awarded the Frank and Alice Christ Endowed Scholarship.  Most recently, in 2021, she was appointed as the Assistant Director of the Common Experience
